We have combed through hundreds of products and have gathered various combinations to fit the costumes of some of our favorite movie characters and would make perfect Oscars party costumes.
One more thing >> if you continue scrolling down we have included movie inspired costumes from past years including the always popular Lobby Boy Costume from the Grand Budapest Hotel.

Wear Outfits, Not Costumes
Just today we received an email from Shopstyle announcing that outfits rather than costumes are 2015’s hottest Halloween trend. We wanted to scream – told you so! Every Halloween we feature real life clothes that can be dressed up for Halloween and then worn again throughout the year.
For example a must own little black dress like the one featured below, and available in sizes xs – 4x, can be paired with black cat bags, headbands, shoes, jewelry and cat face paint. And then after Halloween you can continue to wear the dress and all the accessories, just not all together.

The Book Of Mormon Inspired Group Costumes
At the last minute my husband and I made a spur of the moment decision to attend parents’ weekend at USC. Too late to get football tickets, we decided to try to get tickets to see The Book of Mormon. Every time we visit NYC we look into getting tickets but the prices are prohibitively high. Not that The Book of Mormon tickets in Los Angeles were inexpensive, but this time we decided to go for it and am I glad we did. Not only did I love the characters of Elder Price and the rest of the gang but I must admit, while watching the fabulous staged “Mormon Spooky Hell Dream” number I was inspired — I couldn’t wait to get home and try to pull a last minute group costume together for you. I promise, it is not too late to order your Halloween costume online and receive delivery before next weekend’s Halloween festivities begin.
Mormon Spooky Hell Dream Costumes
One or more than one person in the group must dress as a 19 year old Mormon missionary better known as an elder. This costume is simple and easy to pull together at the last minute: a white dress shirt, black pants, a skinny black tie, black dress shoes, and a small book covered with a book cover that says The Book of Mormon. Additional group members should consider wearing a Skeleton Costumes with Top Hats and oversize Pitchforks and an Underworld Ringmaster Devil Costume. Additionally, someone in the group should definitely consider wearing a Jesus costume. Throw in African Queen and African King characters and you will definitely capture the essence of the play. Warning: do not even attempt to pull off this group costume look if you do not thoroughly appreciate and understand South Park humor.
