Plan a Soup Swap Party
Another who woulda thunk it moment! January 21st (the 3rd Saturday of January) is this year's 12th Annual Soup Swap. We originally read about this creative party idea in Sara McColl's Yahoo article entitled “The Only Party Invitation We Want This Time of Year” and followed the link chain to the the Soup Swap Facebook page. I guess it shouldn't surprise anyone that we were intrigued. A winter party theme that is easy to organize, allows you to keep your weight loss / get healthy resolutions, has very little cost associated with it. And best of all you get to go home with one of the best party favors ever – 6 quarts of delicious soups, enough for dinner for a week.

These fabulous New Year's invitations from Tiny Prints inspired us to create an entire New Years party theme. We love the idea of ushering in a rosy new year or starting the new year wearing rose colored glasses, figuratively. Rather than gold and black glitz and glam, the softness of these invitations set the tone for an all round kinder, gentler new year. We'll toast to that >> Cheers! Continue Reading →

A few weeks ago we took a first stab at a pink snowman party. Today we are refining the vision to create an adorable little girl's first birthday celebration.
The inspiration is this Zazzle invitation – Karl, we agree, the cute little pink cap beats the traditional snowman hat, hands down. We did not want the save the date to match the invitation so together we came up with a coordinating look to set the party's tone yet not take away from the invitation itself.……
