One of our favorite parties of all times was Portia’s Peace and Love theme Bat Mitzvah party. It was not only colorful and festive, the theme was thoughtful and perfectly appropriate for the occasion. Ever since, this theme has sat patiently waiting on our “to do” list. Recently we received an email from Shauna planning her daughter’s 8 year old birthday party and looking for “peace and love” theme ideas. So finally we have an excuse to move it right up to the top of our list. As we began gathering the best of the best “Peace and Love” party supplies, we quickly realized its versatility since it can be dressed up and down, made elegant or cute. You can decorate this party in bright neons or in Thanksgiving and holiday colors. Not only is a Peace and Love theme perfect for adult and children birthday parties, sweet sixteen, quinceanera, and Bat Mitzvah celebrations, it is also a meaningful fund raising theme, festive holiday party theme, and great for a kick-back, college party or school dance.
Whether you call them fan poms, spirit poms, or rooter poms, this staple of cheer and pom pom squads are typically used to encourage crowd participation and to build team spirit at high school and college sporting events.
Spiritline is now offering individuals, organizations, and fundraising groups a special discount on the bulk purchase of 50 or more spirit poms. Sports fan poms do especially well in gift shops and concession stands because fans find them to be fun and affordable and can be ordered in most school color combinations. Additionally fan poms can be used as a fundraising tool by selling advertising space on custom coupon handle poms.
But our absolute favorite use of spirit poms is to gather a few dozen together and place them in inexpensive white (or any color) urns to create festive, colorful, impressive table centerpieces! Perfect for end of year banquets, award ceremonies, school fundraisers, graduation celebrations, and yes, even patriotic parties. It may be worth hanging around after the game to gather the poms left by fans in the stands. 🙂
Go Team! Party Hearty!

These painted horses are the Riding Corner’s new obsession. We love them as collectibles, to give as gifts, to paint ourselves, to add to horse party centerpieces, and even to use as a cornerstone in a campaign to raise awareness and funds for equestrian related causes.
