It is not too late to still plan an Election Night Party. Four years ago, we failed to plan ahead but when we got to the polls we ran into friends and invited them over to watch the election results and to enjoy a spur of the moment dinner together. An evening of fabulous food it was not but we had the best time despite being on opposite sides of the political spectrum.
This year we are planning ahead – even sending out formal invitations. We haven't yet decided what to serve but we are definitely serving drinks in ball mason jars with red & white stripe retro paper straws and will without a doubt be once again be pulling out our clear glass plates to create fabulous custom election partyware with my memories suite (be sure to use code STMMMS76583 to get $10.00 off the purchase price!). Email us for detailed How2 instructions.
Whether you have children knocking at the door, organizing a classroom party, or are hosting a dinner party for adults, Halloween is one of the year's most fun days to break out the crazy and celebrate. These decorations—hanging bats made of felt, antique drawings of skulls, a baroque candle straight out of a Gothic castle—are so irresistible you’ll bring them out to haunt your home every October. Best yet, they are all available on One Kings Lane for just a fraction of the price you would normally pay – up to 73% off retail price. The catch – the sale ends Sunday 10/14 at 8am PST and items are only available on a first come basis, so products sell out quickly. There have
been quite a few instances when I have puttered too long and by the time I finally committed to the purchase, it was already sold out. I am learning to listen to my gut and buy when something tickles my fancy.
It is not too late to host a monster bash and to pick up almost everything you will need at this sale. Think Halloween invitations, Jack-O-Lantern Candles, Bottle Cap Tic-Tac-Toe, Yard Art, Dish Towels and vintage pull toy centerpieces
Both Print Games Now carry Holiday, Seasonal, and Event games; Baby Shower, Bridal Shower, Birthday, Over-the-Hill, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Spring, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Harvest, Christmas, New Year's and Winter games.
If we get one question more than any other, it is “do you have any ideas of games to play at my party and by the way, our guests are arriving in 45 minutes.” Our answer is always the same — yes, go online and order a theme pack of printable games. The biggest time suck is always the actual ordering and, of course, the printing of the games. Something always goes awry — generally I forget to fill in a required field and then have to start the ordering process all over again or my printer runs out of paper or worse yet, the printer jams because it knows I am in a rush. So if you plan in advance, you will not only have peace of mind that you have easily accessible party activities (you have access to the games 24/7), you also have plenty of time to print them out well before your guests arrive.
Have Fun and Party Hearty!
