Encourage your guests to watch as many nominated films as possible before the party — an educated crowd is always more fun and more invested in the evening.  Although not all nominated films are currently available for purchase, many will be released in DVD or blu ray format a few days after the Academy Awards are broadcast.  Films currently in stock are highlighted.  Another option rather than buying the DVDs is to rent them by  subscribing to Blockbuster or Netflix.   With  Netflix you can  instantly watch the released movies on your computer or even your  TV via Netflix ready devices like game consoles, TVs, Blu-ray players.
